Nonwovens Conference Tackles Profit Challenges
Through its Nonwovens Division, TAPPI and association partner INDA (Association for the Nonwovens Industry) join forces to focus on profits at the Fall International Nonwovens Technical Conference (INTC). The 4-day event will feature, tutorials, technical sessions focused on recharging profits, an expert keynote speaker, a tabletop event and reception, and committee meetings for members to catch up with one another. Everything takes place September 8-11, 2008 at Hilton Americas in Houston, Texas.

Portsmouth: the PLACE for Innovations in Flexible Consumer Packaging
TAPPI’s PLACE Division gathers for its Fall Meeting in Portsmouth, VA. Separate keynote presentations will provide insights into packaging thinking at consumer giants Wal-Mart and Proctor & Gamble. 65 technical presentations will be delivered in total September 14-17, 2008 at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel.
Other program highlights include a new technology showcase, networking reception, tabletop display, awards lunch, river cruise gala, and a special attendance offer for converting plants.
