EPE, IBBC Conference Highlights Available

TAPPI’s Environmental, Pulping & Environmental (EPE) Conference occurs October 11-14, 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee. Attend to find answers to the most pressing business and technical questions faced by pulp and paper companies as they manage raw materials, assets, regulatory requirements and production options. With 10 focused tracks and over 100 sessions, this year’s conference offers expert speakers; exclusive networking opportunities; and new technologies that can help mills optimize operations. Visit the new EPE website and learn more.

TAPPI’s International Bioenergy and Bioproducts (IBBC) Conference will be held October 14-16, 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee. It immediately follows the EPE event and is the only conference that primarily focuses on issues around biomass utilization in the forest products industry, with particular emphasis on technology and its successful application and implementation.

Biomass is the most important renewable resource used in the world today, especially forest products and agricultural residues. Many new enterprises are now vying for the same limited finances. As a result, they are involved in a technological race to demonstrate commercial viability. To address these issues, the focus of this year’s event is toward applied technology within the constraints of the current and future business economic realities.
