Why the REP Program?
Dozens of interviews with pulp and paper company training professionals indicated that the quality of continuing education activities in our industry varies widely. 100% of manufacturing sites surveyed supported the idea of a TAPPI "Seal of Approval" for high-quality providers of continuing education. In their words,
"Any training organization that is concerned about quality of their programs would want to have the seal of approval".
". . . consistency among providers is extremely important. The quality of educational services in the paper industry is highly variable, leading to mixed results and a good bit of skepticism among companies looking for providers".
